[notes on change] #4

If there're people i really want to kick off their butt, among them is definitely one who invent the phrase "preparing for the worst case scenario". Today I realized one thing : why must one prepare for a bad thing (to happen)? Like, why must one prepare to have a heart broken? Didn't the bad thing itself already bad? Why must make it worse with preparing for it?

If one day a heart must be broken, at the very least I don't want to make it happen faster, by thinking of it overly over and over preparing "what if that happen..." I just don't want to double the pain.

So, why would even one really make a worst case scenario in the first place?

'preparing FOR the worst case' in my opinion is not the same as 'preparing the worst case'. It's not that we expect something bad to happen, instead it gives you track on how to save yourself IF that happens.

Perhaps it's just a kind of 'mitigation' :)) You don't want to end up with regret just because you didn't lock your door when you're out, do you? ;)

iya ya... mitigation :)) *berasa tesis*

Iya Fa, memang nggak sama kok maksudnya.
